[INTRO + MISSION]

Hey, I’m Dominique. I’m a vocalist, songwriter and composer for TV and film specialising in classical and contemporary pop styles. I now offer 1-1 music teaching in Brighton and Hove helping others find their voice, including piano lessons, singing lessons, songwriting lessons and production lessons. I also offer bespoke composition services for clients.

Music has always been the one thing that has stayed constant in my life, allowed me to fully be and explore the whole of myself and I am forever grateful for that. My mission is to help more people connect with themselves and their community through the power of sound.

[THE BACK STORY]

I was classically trained in piano and singing when I was young, I loved being in the school choir and was (still am) obsessed with film scores - The Lion King is up there.

I went to university to get a ‘proper’ job… studying Nutrition and Sport Science and in my final year I got injured from sport and got diagnosed with ME (chronic fatigue syndrome). I was severely depressed and was writing songs on the side to document how I felt. I then felt compelled to join a songwriting course, met some incredibly inspiring people and thought, if I don’t do this now, ‘the dream’, I’ll never do it.

[CURRENTLY]

So here we are. Now I sing, write, produce and compose music for TV, documentary, film and commercial. I’ve worked with some amazing musicians (some of which I was so inspired by for years) and through multiple collaborations, my songs have been placed on the likes of Netflix, BBC, Showtime, HBO Max, Sky and more. Brands I’ve worked with include the likes of RAD Global and I’ve performed my music across the world - forever grateful!

As well as writing music, I help others through teaching, workshops and live events.

When I create music or help someone else connect and that helps tell a story or makes you feel something, that’s why I do this. I believe that’s what I’m here for, to help you connect, feel and heal.
